The US has some good qualities, one of them being having better economic opportunities for those who come from places that are sorely lacking those chances. My parents came here because where they were from just didn't allow them to better themselves or their family. But the US also has a diabolical history of genocide, human trafficking, enslavement, oppression, violence, and thievery. The powers that be built a propaganda machine since its inception that just lied about who we really are to their fellow Americans and to the world. When Hollywood came about they amped up this BS to a level never seen before. In other words, the US is in complete denial as to what and who they really are.
