I am Mexican American born and raised in Chicago with relatives in Texas and I now live in LA. I must admit, that out of all the Mexican communities I've encountered, the Tejanos seem to have the biggest chip on their shoulders. Chicago and CA Mexicans don't have this inferiority complex that I see Tejanos have. It must be the brutal anti-Mexican Texas history.
