Hi Derek, the team was made up of 35 members and most had the same job titles and duties. I have been around a long time and I know how to stand up for myself. I posed all of the questions that you mentioned, I even put in a formal HR complaint, and the firm never answered them. They were very vague as to the criteria they used to make these decisions. I and the others who were let go always had positive performance reviews. I do know of one staff member, who is white, who had many performance issues that was not laid off. This director was given carte blanche to make these cuts as he saw fit and he abused his power. This happens quite often in corporate America, believe it or not.
