End-of-year reviews are a joke. They are clearly subjective and dysfunctional bosses use them for power, retaliation and control. Systemic bias also plays a big role in these “performance reviews.” We must continue to fight back against unjust treatment in the workplace, even if there are serious consequences. Thank you for continuing to point out these examples of institutionalized racism.
