Corporate lobbyist, unfortunately, control the minimum wage debate. They have literally bought politicians of both parties to keep it low and have convinced a large segment of our society that a living wage is not feasible.

Only when we are able to get big money of out our political system will we be able to raise the minimum wage to where it should be, and lift our whole country up.
